Rachel Joynson shows
Storytime is a half hour show that is full of stories and poems. Every show has a new chapter of a weekly book, plus one or two complete short stories and some poems thrown in for good measure.
I have memories as a small child of being read to daily by both my parents. My Dad especially used to do the character’s voices (‘Albert Herbert Hawkins – The Naughtiest Boy In The World’ was a particular favourite!).
I was also lucky enough to grow up in a house that was full of music and drama (the acting kind!). Through the years I have continued to act and sing and, once I had children of my own, I became the storyteller. My children have now grown up, but I still love telling stories and wanted to share some of the tales that my children and I have enjoyed over the years.
Chip in for the price of a coffee to support Rachel during these uncertain times, it will keep the show going. If you are putting yourself in financial peril by doing so, don’t. But, it is nice to be nice – tip only if you can afford to.
